Golden Jubilee Memorial Trust
To commemorate the Golden Jubilee year of the Chamber,
Golden Jubilee Memorial Trust was established in 1990 by then Chairman Mr. Rajnikant Marfatia, who contributed substantially towards the trust, with an objective to recognize and appreciate outstanding contributions by ndividuals and institutions. Annual awards were conferred for excellence in various fields such as Exceptional entrepreneurship, Excellence in education, Exports, Import Substitution, Productivity, Research and evelopment, Energy Conservation, Social Welfare etc.
The SGCCI Golden Jubilee Memorial Trust gives away awards every year in various categories, including outstanding business persons, pollution control research and development, energy efficiency, and various other nitiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for the citizens of India. The trust is managed by a board of trustees appointed by the government, and it has made significant contributions to various sectors over the years.
To commemorate the Golden Jubilee year of the Chamber, SGCCI started a Trust in June 1990 with an objective to recognize and appreciate outstanding contributions by individuals and institutions with an annual award for excellence in various fields such as Exports, Import Substitution, Productivity, Research and Development, Energy Conservation, Social Welfare etc.
