The SGCCI aims of promote the Trade and Industry of its region globally
The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SGCCI), established in 1940, has always been at the forefront of promoting trade and industry from the region to the world. With its strong foundation and proactive vision, SGCCI has created the Global Connect Department to act as a bridge between its members and international markets.
The SGCCI aims of promote the Trade and Industry of its region globally. Apart from being the regional Chamber, SGCCI has set its eyes on promoting the core strengths of Surat in the International Market. To achieve this objective, SGCCI has developed close association with the Consulates of various Countries in India.
To enhance the possibilities of mutual trade and to facilitate its members, SGCCI has developed a special cell and has already set up Business Corners for Trade with America and Indonesia. Several other countries like Thailand, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Russia and others are actively considering the possibilities of utilizing this Facility.
The Global Connect Department works with a singular aim – to connect SGCCI members with trade, investment, and business opportunities across the globe. Through collaborations with Embassies, High Commissions, Consulates, and International Chambers of Commerce, SGCCI facilitates meaningful dialogue, networking, and partnerships.
To support this mission, SGCCI has also established dedicated Business Corners that serve as gateways for members to access country-specific information, explore trade opportunities, and connect with potential partners. While Business Corners for select countries are already operational, SGCCI’s Global Connect vision is not limited to a few nations – it is designed to extend to all countries worldwide, enabling members to benefit from a truly global outreach.
By creating a platform that fosters international networking, SGCCI helps its members identify opportunities for exports, imports, joint ventures, investments, and collaborations, ensuring that businesses from Southern Gujarat remain competitive and well-positioned in the international marketplace.
